I own Matteson's Florist in Encinitas and I'm so excited to be here in Bonsall with our new studio, Petals & Gemstones. I grew up picking tulips in our greenhouse right across the street from Ponto Beach. These days, we grow scented greenery and little blooms that you will find in your arrangements here and there. My favorite thing is incorporating gemstones into floral or plant gifts. They far outlast the flowers and we find that our clients treasure them forever.

About Petals and Gemstones
I grew up going to work with my Mom in our family's greenhouse and flower shop in Encinitas. I love to being able to still support some of the growers I grew up with. My team and I have been working hard to open our new location, Petals & Gemstones in beautiful Bonsall. You will find me twirling flowers, doing paperwork and gazing at all of the beautiful Gemstones in between. If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.
